The right time

I am working on a blog series on “The right time”.

I plan on exploring a few different aspects of what people expect at different stages of our lives and would love to hear what you might want me to explore.

Whether it be starting a family, career plans or even retirement.

Comment with something relevant and I hope to include it in this series.

I look forward to seeing what your views are.

    1. Thank you so much for your comment! Health is really important, and even in today's times it seems people are not fully understanding the need for sound mental health.

  2. I like to be as micro-ambitious as possible, so my goals arent very far-sighted. By working very hard at what's right in front of me and almost disregarding things that are "out of sight" as "out of mind", I can focus all my effort on what is happening now. In this way I have shifted careers a number of times because no future plan is binding me to a current position, method or goal. Through this, everything happens at "the right time" for me.

That said, I do have some loose goals, like being able to retire at 60. Hopefully whatever path I end up taking gets me that far at least 😅

    1. Thank you for your comment! I’m sure with all your career changing people are constantly telling you that “You need to find one and stick to it?” “You need to settle down”? I’d love to explore the career aspect. Thanks for sharing

  3. Reading the first post, has given me a great deal to think on and reflect. I look forward to what comes next.

Defining success has been on my mind for sometime. The traditional goals still exist, but many people take a different road and get looked down upon. Exploring such a topic I believe would encourage open conversation among many readers.

    1. Thanks so much for your comment! That is definitely one! People try telling us what success is, but it’s unique to each person

  4. The expectations people have on themselves and others once they've reached certain ages.

E.g. expectation to study and know what you want straight after matric, or being married with so many kids by the time you get to a certain age etc.
